Purchased the air-assist nozzle and a fish-tank air pump for the laser cutter. the included tubing is junk so I bought some 1/4" vinyl tubing from home depot. Works fine.

Ran a material test on 1/8" Birch Plywood. 

The 100mm/min speed is really slow. Better to make multiple passes at a higher speed.

Celtic Mandolin Sound board Mock-up

Engraved contour lines onto the mockup. In the future, this will be a template because the wood for the soundboard is usually supplied in a rift-cut, wedge shape witch is the book matched. Since it isn't flat, it won't work in the laser cutter.

Also cut out a drill-press depth stop to determine the contour depths.
